While digging through the film archives for this website I came across this one negative, curled amongst all the others. Not recognizing it I pulled it out for closer inspection and realized it was a multiple exposure. Not just a couple exposures but an entire roll of film, 24-36 exposures on 2 frames. Something that happens if the film doesn’t spool and wind over to the roll when advancing the camera. Somewhat of a mechanical failure but it's mainly user error. The good news is, I was able to salvage the dense exposure(s) in the scanning. The other good news, it was shot at a Pearl Jam soundcheck at Seattle venue RCKNDY in 1991-92. One of those “happy accidents'' that could only happen with film, reaffirming my love for the format.
